Basic Structure Clearing Course - Intro to CQB

This class is designed for beginners into the CQB world.  Tier Three Group's objective is to instruct the students in the difference between deliberate and dynamic clearing.  Students should be able to employ techniques for a regular patrol response to a building clearing situation and a tactical raid search typically used in narcotic operations.  Students should be able to use tactical thinking during these scenarios and demonstrate the ability for a team to work together in clearing a building.

First Responder Breaching

This hands-on, dynamic course is designed to aid the first responder in approaching and breaching into a crisis site using traditional and non-traditional methods.  The course covers the use of both manual and ballistic breaching tools to gain entry into a structure under extreme exigent circumstances that demand immediate entry to save and protect innocent lives.

Tactical Medicine for High Risk Response Teams

Tactical Medicine for High Risk Response Teams is designed to familiarize law enforcement personnel assigned to response teams (SWAT, SRT, etc.) or EMT-basic with the next operational level of first responder medical support. The course curriculum includes an overview of Tactical Casualty Care (TCCC), medical terminology, anatomy/physiology as it relates to trauma medicine. Airway Management, Chest Trauma and Advanced Bleeding Control procedures including the latest in TCCC application. The course combines classroom learning and hands-on skill stations. Scenario assessment stations enable you to put your learning to work in simulated trauma situations. This course can be tailored to agency-specific needs. In keeping with the nature of this course, students will plan, facilitate, and evaluate a culminating scenario-driven practical exercise. Student performance will be carefully evaluated and in-depth feedback will be provided during a comprehensive after-action debriefing. 


LESSONS LEARNED ON THE BATTLEFIELD CAN BE EXTENDED INTO CIVILIAN PRACTICE, PARTICULARLY LAW ENFORCEMENT.  IT IS OUR HOPE TO SHARE OUR COMBAT EXPERIENCE, ARMY LESSONS LEARNED TO ENHANCE THE PEACE KEEPER AND PEACE OFFICER RELATIONSHIP.

  • Appropriate clothing is mandatory as practical scenarios in this course are designed to be as realistic as possible.  Be prepared for training inside or outdoors.  Clothing and other equipment may become soiled or damaged during this training.  Please wear clothing and shoes that you won't mind being ruined.

High Risk Event Planning for Narcotic Operations

 Raids for high risk narcotic warrants are extremely dangerous situations, and we can never be totally prepared for every eventuality in the fluid and dangerous environments in which we operate. This class presents a system for planning and preparing for high risk situations, teaching precautions that can be taken to insure the highest possible degree of safety while insuring the highest likelihood of success in our planned events. This class also presents scenario-based training, and how to give a structured briefing of planned events. The goal of this class is to impart to the officers the knowledge, techniques and the confidence needed to operate more safely and successfully during high risk planned counter narcotic operations.
